Embark on an extraordinary 15-daytrip to Tanzania for Kilimanjaro trekking and Hillock school visits and helping in hand , This is where adventure meets purpose . With Pamoja Afrika an organization that is dedicated to ensuring children’s education and safe learning environments in Tanzania since 2010 , you will experience the ultimate adventure, trekking to the the roof of Africa Uhuru Peak 5,885 in Tanzania while having the unique opportunity to directly engage with Hillock construction school program in Kisiwani, visiting schools, and witnessing the work in action. This is a group challenge and can be done in a group from 5people and above.

 

You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred to Moshi town for dinner and overnight. The following day you will depart to Kisiwani village where the Hillock school is located . You will spend four days at the project, overseeing the school, meet the students andwitnessing the construction work in first hand, learn about the project, and see the real impact your fundraising impact on the ground. 

After a 4 beautiful dayin Kisiwani you will be transfers back to Moshi Dual Mountain  for your preaparation to Kilimanjaro trekking the following day.

Morning after breakfast a short drive to Machame gate where your seven days Kilimanjaro trekking through Machame route will begin.

 At the beginning of the climb, Machame Gate (1490mt),  the average temperature is around 27°to 32°C (70°to 80°F). From there, the temperatures will decrease as you move through zones. At the summit, Uhuru Peak (5895mt), the night temperatures can range -18° to -26°C (0° to -15F). Due to the great height of Mount Kilimanjaro, it creates its own weather pattern which is virtually impossible to predict. Therefore, the we advise you to always be prepared for a variety of conditions.  Ask us if you would like any equipment assistance

Machame route also known as “Whiskey route “ offers stunning views and reasonable challenge to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Each participant is asked to raise a minimum of $1,000, with all funds directly going to supporting Hillock construction school projects in Kisiwani.

On your trekking you will be led by local Tanzanian team who are well trained and experienced mountain guides.

After an unforgettable few days, you will return to Moshi Dual Mountain View lodge for a day of relaxation before departing back home the following day. This expedition promises not only an unforgettable adventure but also a chance to make a meaningful impact.
